Prepping For Baby: Freezer Friendly Meals

  • One of the benefits of having a winter baby is meal prepping is much easier than in the summer, in my opinion. Most freezer friendly meals tend to be heartier meals that I just don’t like eating in the summer. I’ve recently started prepping meals for the first few weeks and months after baby comes. Is this another phase of nesting? Brett and I have a shared Pinterest board where we pin meal ideas and then I’ve been trying to make at least one meal a weekend to put in the freezer.

Last week organic beef was on sale for $1.50 a pound (Brett was so excited for this), so we stocked the freezer with ground beef. I made Italian meatballs that we can use for Italian meatball subs and spaghetti and meatballs. I also plan on using some to make stuffed green peppers, chili and Swedish meatballs. Here are a few of the other meals I’m planning on making!
